The workshop comprises a day of theory, three days of concept and practical work and a one-day symposium on 12. November, 2004. The symposium is being staged in collaboration with the Swiss Lighting Society. Admission for the conference is included in the workshop fee.
The workshop headqarters, including the workrooms, will be Hall 180 of the School of Architecture, Design and Civil Engineering at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences Winterthur.
The practical workshops will be headed by the following international lighting designers:

- Henrietta Lynch, ELDA, UK
- Michael Schmidt, ELDA, Germany
- Linnaea Tillett, USA
- Christian Vogt, IALD Switzerland
The introduction and the workshops will be held in English.
