The International Festival of Light in Winterthur, Switzerland comprises a diverse programme of exhibitions, congresses, events and lighting installations. The focus of the overall event will be on the application of light in public and private spaces from the point of view of design, urban planning and sustainability.
The lighting concepts developed and implemented during the one-week practical workshop on the Sulzer site of Winterthur will form the basis of the festival. The workshop groups will be headed by international lighting designers.
