blind Workshops
blind The one-week workshops will be taking place from November 8 to 13, 2004 and are targeted at professionals and students of architecture, urban development, lighting design and lighting engineering, educators in the field of architecture, interior architecture, landscape design architecture and lighting design.

The practical workshop is organised by the European Lighting Designers' Association (ELDA+) and the groups headed by internationally renowned lighting designers will be developing and implementing lighting concepts for spaces, buildings and structures on the site of the former Sulzer works in Winterthur/CH. the theme of the workshops is "Revitalisation of Industrial Sites" and "Design Sustainability".

Around 60 students and lighting professionals are expected to participate in the workshops, experimenting with light and realising their concepts on six selected project sites.

The general public, visitors and professional people will have the chance to view the installations and join guided tours of the sites from 12. November, 2004 onwards for three weeks.
